Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night

Act 1, Scene 3

” If you leave like this, my dear, I won’t ever use my sword again”

I choose this quote because it sounded at the first thime like an honor stuff. Is interesting because he tried to use valuables words and he just sounded like an idiot. The thing is that he was just talking to a maid and he suppose to be in controll of the situation. He deserved that everyone talked to him without respect.

Act 2, Scene 3

” The future’s unsure, and there’s no reason to waste time”

This words sound interesting and joiful by their selves. Anyway I think that it is just the right way to live and face our lifes. Most of the time we chose to do something and we do not do it because we are afraid about what could happen later. The truth is that we all know that is easier to say sorry than to ask for a permition. Is possible that we could sometimes chose our future.

 Act 3, Scene 2

” Oh, he looks like a pathetic Sunday school teacher “

This sentence reminds me to a stupid tutor that I use to have in my elementary school. She use to force me to read boring stuffs in the weekends. When I grow up I figured that my parents let me with her just because they needed someone who take care of me while they were working or hanging out. That is why this sentence is interesting for me. There are now school at Sundays so it is just a lie.

Act 4, Scene 2

” I tell you, this house is as dark as ignorance”

I like this quotation because of the comparation between the darkness and the ignorance. When you are an ignorant in any way you do not know the path you are taking. When everything is dark you cannot see your path neither so that is how they match. In the other hand someone who is ignorant could never been dark because it would be like a baby. Any baby have a darkness inside. I just like the way in wich Shakespeare use to think.

Act 5, Scene 1

” I’m better because of my enemies, and worse off because of my friends”

I like this comentary because most of the time our friends try to help us by hidding us the truth and our enemies have no matter in telling us the truth as bad as it could sound. People rather hear the truth than a lie. At least my friends use to behave really clear while giving me an oppinion and I apreciate that a lot.

Once upon a time there was a little puppy that was captured by a man in the streets and sent to the dog house. A cute family of a mother, a father and a baby girl called Amyl was moving into the area. It was also Amyl’s birthday so they her parents decided to gift her something special. They went to the doghouse and saw a cute puppy with a sad face but amorous and they thought it was a good idea to gift the dog as a birthday present. When the parents gave the puppy to Amyl, she just loved it at first sight and called it Lucky. What the whole family did not know was that Lucky used to be romantic and that was a problem. Some day they were invited to a beach party near to their house. They decided to go and have a lot of fun but then something unexpected happened. On the way to the beach Lucky saw a table with a bunch of beautiful flowers on it. Quickly something went through his mind! When they arrived Amyl’s parents left them alone for a few minutes to take a picture around the pier and when they turned around lucky started running the other way. He ran so fast that Amyl lost it from her view and then the crisis started. The only way to see where Lucky had gone was because he was breaking everything on his way. Amyl was looking for him everywhere but she noticed that she had not looked at the pier. she ran to the pier to see if Lucky was with her parents and tell them anyway about what was happening. Amyl was running and yelling his name but she did not notice that she was near her dad at the edge of the pier and about to fall down. When Amyl took her final step Lucky the romantic lovely hero dog appeared with a flower in his mouth . He dropped for a quarter of a second to the floor and barked out loud a few times. When Amyl and her parents heard him, Amyl turned around and almost fell, but Lucky bit her shirt to grab her and pulled back. After that, everyone start mourning because of the shock and Lucky gave to Amyl the beautiful peach flower while twinkleling his tail. Finally, they happily went back home and put a couple of rules for the next time they go out somewhere.

Peter Pan Frustrating Story

First of all I want to warn everybody about my group imagination. Our part of the picture was the one in which the man was walking on the street. The thing was that the guy who I am talking about was Peter Pan and he was old because of being visiting Wendy on earth a lot. Now he was unable to fly and he was just looking for Wendy’s daughter who was in the window behind him. There was a spy called Bruno from Never Land watching him with a dog face just to be sure that he would get older until die or he would find the girl so the bad guys would stole her and kill her. It was everything because Captain Hook partners wanted to  take revenge against Peter Pan or against someone related to him. The little Wendy called Frosty was the perfect target to obtain that type of revenge. Captain Hook best friend called  Captain Claw was desperated to see someone dead quikly but that was a trouble because the time in Earth was not the same as the time in Never Land and we all know that. Captain Claw weakness was the voice of the childrens.  Any way Peter Pan was old but not dumb and everything was planned from the beginning. That was the reason of why he was walking to the wrong way so he could be able to escape from Bruno and then he could rescue Frosty and send her to Never Land to have a sweet live. Of course in the end Frosty just wanted to get back as her mom Wendy and there was a new Villain able to fight with the old and manipulated but wise Peter Pan who regain his power by catching his elusive shadow on Earth.

The End

The Cask of Amontillado

3. Although the narrator seems to assume that his actions are justified, he certainly can be interpreted as a villain.

  • What characteristics of the narrator make him an effective villain?
  • Can you think of any other villains from stories, books, television shows, movies, or “real life” that share some of the narrator’s villainous characteristics?
  • Is there anything about the narrator that you find attractive or likeable?

When the narrator decided to kill Fortunato, he decide that he would not give him any clue of his marvelous plan. Montresor also ask him to go back in a sarcastic way so he could think that everything was going to be alright. Having that by his side, Montresor began to walk with him into a perfect place to be murdered. In addition he gave a lot of wine to Fortunato while they were walking to the dungeon. That way Fortunato would be drunk and it would be easy to enchain him. All these plans are the ones that make Montresor an effective villian. This story randomly reminds me about Hamlet because he also planned the revenge for his father murder. Both of them became a smart mind to take revenge and that is something that I like about them. I read somewhere else that fifty years later the world discovered who was the murderer of the Cask of Amontillado. Something that I also like from this author is that they let inside you the suspense that maybe something like that can happen to you. I mean probably all of  us had commit a mistake that could hurt someone else and that person might be planning his revenge for us while everything is perfect for us. Who are we in live Montresor or Fortunato? Maybe someone could tell at our ears sometime in our lifes the words that Montresor tell to Fortunato ” In pace requiescat ” which mean rest in peace…
